Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting

Exhibitions opening 2017 in Paris, Dublin, Washington DC

The exhibition Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting: Inspiration and Rivalry has opened up in Paris – and within one day, all time slot tickets have been completely sold out. And within the Louvre halls, viewers are herded on rather quickly and get very limited time to see these beautiful works and then are evicted. This exhibition thus seems to implode under its own popular success.

I foresee comparable mayhem in Dublin and Washington DC.

Alternative Plan. I offer you plan B.

Plan B is a relaxed international private tour, AFTER this exhibition is over, to various museums in Europe to see these Vermeers at leisure. Notably in London, Dublin, Frankfurt, Dresden, Berlin, Paris, The Hague, Amsterdam. I can offer VIP entry in Amsterdam  entering as early as possible. This is the wise thing to do: entering these museums at either 9 AM or 10 AM. Before the crowds get in.

Private Professore

Author Kaldenbach lecturing in front of Vermeer

I am a leading specialist on Vermeer and I will be your private professore, travelling in from Amsterdam, Holland specially for you. Tour by Drs Kees Kaldenbach, a professional Art History scholar with excellent teaching skills. Specialist in Fine Art and Design, Architecture and History. VIP entry. Entry best at from 9 or 10AM.

Please note, this is a high level offer. Practicalities: I live in Amsterdam, Holland and do NOT run a travel agency.  I do however provide Fabulous international museum tours. The plan is that you contract me for one or more days as your private ‘Professor’ and offer full transport to that city, plus hotel accommodation in the same place you will stay. We will spend quality time together in mornings and early afternoons.
